**Notice:**
In some cases a speed reduction can occure due to local environmental conditions especially at long distances between the FRITZ!Powerline devices. In such cases a downgrade of the above mentioned software version is recommended.

**Attention:** If you bought your FRITZ!Powerline 510E after the 20th April 2016 is the usage of this software version due to changed conformity requirements for new CE directive not allowed.

To update your FRITZ!Powerline via the powerline software please follow these steps:

 1) Download the IMAGE file

 2) Open the application FRITZ!Powerline (en.avm.de/powerline).

 3) Open the Detail page of your FRITZ!Powerline 510E 

 3) Click on "Update file" and select your *.image file 

 4) Your device will be downgraded and ready after one minute
